After introducing the first Green warehouse in Singapore in August 2012, SDV, a major player in transport and logistics, is pioneering a new environmental initiative on using the first hybrid Mitsubishi truck for local deliveries.
Powered both by a highly efficient diesel engine and an electric motor, the hybrid shuttle is designed to significantly reduce the fuel consumption and harmful atmospheric emissions.
Suiting to the urban jungle of Singapore, the initiative by SDV is line with SDV’s environmental solution, SAVE PROGRAM, aiming to assist clients in designing and maintaining eco-responsible supply chain solutions.
The new SDV hybrid shuttle is a tangible action in logistics industry serving Singapore government’s vision of promoting low emitting transport system while improving air quality in the city-state in a global context of climate change and air pollution in most of urban centers.
