With a double diploma from Polytechnique and Telecom Paris Tech, Jean-Luc Bernard founded Robinson Technologies Holding 30 years ago, focusing on innovation and technologies. Today, the company has over than 3,500 engineers operating in 15 countries across 5 continents.
ASTEK, an IT and consulting group incorporated in 1989, is the biggest and oldest subsidiary, and has been operating in Asia for 10 years.
Believing that "IoT will change the world just like the Internet did 20 years ago", he launched in August 2014 Eridanis, a consulting firm in innovation specialised in IoT. A division of Robinson Technologies, it is now 50-people strong and with offices in London, Paris, Montreal, La Réunion (Indian Ocean) and now Singapore.
Robinson Technologies is the industrial and financial partner of more than 20 successful start-ups. An attentive father of seven daughters, Jean-Luc is a cinephile and avid reader. He enjoys good food and wine from all over the world and is always eager to discover new restaurants in each city he visits. He is passionate about marathons, mountain-biking and snowboarding and is a great team player, as all who have worked with him would affirm.
Carrie Nooten has been broadcast correspondent in Asia (Singapore, Malaysia, China) for 10 years for Radio France, RFI and France 24 TV - through her media production company, Fortune Cookie Prod. Fluent in Mandarin, she has opened newspaper 20 Minutes office in China, and covered general news extensively, from the Sichuan earthquake to the Olympic Games. Prior to that, she had launched and managed a 20 Minutes local office in France. Mother of two, she founded in 2014 Topo Togo which creates new kind of mobile city guides, including the First guide for Kids & Parents to make family travels easier.
