Prime Minister Edouard Philippe confirmed on 4 September that the withholding tax reform would (finally) be implemented as planned on 1 January 2019.
This is a revolution for France as it has been discussed for more than 10 years by several governments but none of them ever dared to take the plunge. Now it is coming and very soon. It is therefore important to have an idea of the consequences, in particular for non-French tax residents, individuals but also companies!
