Singapore has long positioned itself as a global test bed for emerging new technologies. Despite being a small country, the impact it has on the global community has always gone beyond its physical size. 


Last year, the country topped the Mercer ranking of more than 200 cities around the world for the best infrastructure. Its robust infrastructure, world-class financial services sector, business friendly regulatory policies, and legal environment make Singapore the ideal testbed for fin-tech, AI, robotics and IoT technologies.


With the rise of Low Power Wide Area IoT networks like Sigfox, UnaBiz is establishing Singapore as "The Global IoT Innovation Hub" – A global showroom for all IoT innovations built for massive deployment, by equipping the city state with the best quality, affordable IoT network in the world. 


Singapore’s remarkable ability to attract and nurture tech innovations and entrepreneurs around the globe and Sigfox’s world class global IoT network will put Singapore at the at the forefront of IoT innovation.

About the Speaker:

  • Henri Bong, CEO and Founder, UnaBiz

Henri is the CEO and founder of UnaBiz, a new venture created to be the exclusive service provider of SIGFOX’s Internet of Things (IoT) network and solutions in Singapore and Taiwan with the ambition to extend to more countries in South East Asia.

Prior to UnaBiz, Henri was the Director of Business Development and Sales in Asia of SIGFOX, the first global network dedicated to IoT. Before joining Sigfox, Henri has built a proven track record in exporting French Technologies in Asia for more than 10 years as a Senior Trade Adviser in the French Trade Commission in China and Singapore. He is the founder for instance of the first French Singapore Innovation Days back to 2010 which is holding their 7th annual edition this year.

Henri also worked for Arkadin prior to NTT acquisition and has been hired several times as a consultant by telco carriers for technology benchmarking. He is also an entrepreneur, he created Dipline Asia in 2011 which is still running today. His double culture and passion allow him to build a strong knowledge in Telecommunications, Electronics, Industrial, Construction & Institutional key-players throughout the region, a perfect ecosystem for IoT.

Henri is graduated from ESSEC Business School and is fully trilingual (English, French and Chinese).
