It is understood today that customers are not just buying a product or service but an experience, hence customer experience is paramount to all businesses, be it B2B or B2C.

The supply chain plays a big role in this, so much so that one of the main KPIs today for supply chain is customer experience. It is now expected that supply chains will be proactive, customised, robust and transparent while keeping a high efficiency at low cost.

During this Symposium, we will hear from 6 supply chain practitioners who will share how the supply chain is evolving in their businesses to enhance customer satisfaction, from deployment of innovation and tech solutions (communication/tracking, lead-time), to organisational transformation (governance, processes, people management, partnerships, training and talent management), to understand how we can reinvent supply chain to meet the larger goal of ultimate customer experience.

 

About the speakers

 

  • Arthur BREJON DE LAVERGNEE, Chief Product Officer, LAZADA E-LOGISTICS

Arthur Brejon

Arthur Brejon de Lavergnee is co-founder of Lazada Group and is currently heading the Product team at Lazada e-Logistics, the logistics arm of Lazada. He is responsible for the technology roadmap and developing innovative data-driven solutions for the end to end logistics of Lazada. In addition, he is also driving other strategic functions such as the customer experience team, program team and marketplace logistics team.

During his time at Lazada, he took on key roles such as Chief Product Officer and Chief Marketplace Logistics Officer for the Group and Chief Operations Officer for Singapore.

Prior to joining Lazada Group, Arthur worked for Rocket Internet in Southeast Asia where he held several senior positions in payments, business management and online marketing. Arthur started his career in Paris at BNP Paribas in the Investment Banking division before moving to Singapore.

Arthur holds a Master’s degree in Banking & Finance from the University of Paris-Dauphine and an MBA from the University of Pantheon-Assas in Paris.

 

  • Philippe BROYER, Head of Supply Chain APAC, BIOMÉRIEUX

Philippe Boyer

Philippe Broyer joined Biomerieux more than 17 years ago.

Philippe has a strong international experience at Supply Chain Managing level in Europe, North & South America and Asia Pacific.

As head of Supply Chain Asia Pacific and Channel Management, he is specialised into Medical Devices and IVD perishable temperature-controlled products.

 

 

  • Nicolas DE VRIES, Regional Director - Supply Chain Solutions, BOLLORE LOGISTICS

Nicolas de Vries

Nicolas de Vries joined Bollore Logistic more than 3 years ago as Regional Director - supply chain solution. He is in charge of Contract Logisitcs, E2E flows monitoring, digital network orchestration and Innovation for the Asia Pacific region.

Previously Nicolas worked for more than 17 years at GEFCO in Europe and ASia as contract logistic director APAC amd Business development MAnager 4PL/LLP in France.

Nicolas obtained is Master degree in Management and Economics at Universite Paris Dauphine.

 

  • Maxime CHABAUD, COO Singapore, DECATHLON

Maxime Chabaud

Maxime joined DECATHLON 11 years ago.

He worked 4 years in Retail operations including 2 years as a Store Director in France. Then he joined DECATHLON HQ  and worked during 3 years as a Merchandising and Supply Chain Manager for European Golf market.

He moved to Singapore in 2015 to create a Merchandising and Supply Chain BU for SEA region.  He is currently COO for DECATHLON Singapore and directly in charge of Digital transformation topics.

 

  • Philipp GOCKEL, Global Snr. Manager Customer Delivery Experience, SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC

Philip Gockel

Philipp has been living in Singapore for more than 8 years.

Originally from Germany, he globally manages the Customer Delivery Experience for Schneider Electric; the world's specialist in energy management and automation.

Prior to his time with Schneider Electric, Philipp worked for leading companies in the mining, consulting and pharmaceutical industry.

For almost 20 years in his professional life, Philipp has been orchestrating all phases of complex changes initiatives and transformation programs in Supply Chain, Operations and Business Integration across various platforms, and multiple countries.

 

  • Frédéric GOMER, Managing Director, B2G CONSULTING

Frederic Gomer

Frederic GOMER (MSc) is the co-founder and managing partner of B2G Consulting, an international consulting firm engaged in supply chain transformation in emerging and challenging markets.

With his background as a global end to end supply chain management expert, Frederic has extensive experience working in a range of industries including manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, retail, pharmaceutical, heavy industries & oil & gas.

His areas of expertise include providing companies with guidance in improvement of their global supply chain operations and strategy including leading successful major supply chain transformation projects in Europe, the Middle East and Asia.

His involvement in redefining enterprise-level supply chain strategy has delivered multimillions in cost savings. He has coached and supported companies overcome complex business and operational challenges and build profitable businesses in terra incognita, fastpaced, high pressure markets - transforming their critical challenges into high value opportunities.

Frederic started his career in engineering and has more than 18 years in consulting, he is a regular contributor to supply chain publications and a speaker at regional and global seminars and conferences.

Frederic obtained his Master degree (MSc) in Material Science & Process Engineering from INPG – Grenoble Institute of Technology (Institut National Polytechnique de Grenoble) in France.

  • Bhavesh SHAH, Corporate Vice President, Chief Purchasing Officer, FIRMENICH

Bhavesh Shah

Bhavesh SHAH is the Corporate Vice President, Chief Purchasing Officer. He is responsible for the strategic leadership of sourcing, procurement and supplier collaboration for Firmenich worldwide.  He is a member of the Executive Leadership of the company. 

Since joining Firmenich in 2011, Bhavesh has ushered in a new era of purchasing excellence by strategically managing the sourcing activities of the Company through best-in-class, sustainable purchasing management practices. He spent 19 years with P&G where he held several key positions in Operations, Purchasing and Executive Management. He holds a Masters in Engineering, Manufacturing and Management from the University of Birmingham and has completed executive education at INSEAD and Harvard.

Bhavesh has lived in Kenya, London, Geneva, Brussels, Guangzhou and now resides in Singapore with his family.
