ENGIE invests S$80 million in Centre of Expertise to drive digital and energy efficiency initiatives in Singapore

Singapore’s Smart Nation initiatives will provide ENGIE with an opportunity to test new solutions in real cases and to establish one of its main regional development platforms for district cooling systems. ENGIE’s latest expansion, supported by the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB), will increase its workforce, which currently stands at 1,600, by another 170 highly skilled employees, mostly engineers.

Accenture Survey Reflects Citizen Willingness to Use AI-Based Gov’t Services

An Accenture survey has found that more than half of respondents across Australia, France, Germany, Singapore, the U.K. and the U.S. are open to use artificial intelligence-based government services.  Singapore had the highest support for AI-powered public services among the six countries, while public sector respondents were also more inclined toward the technology compared to other citizens.
