Singapore among the world’s most innovative economies: Bloomberg

Singapore is the 6th most innovative economy in the world, according to the 2017 Bloomberg Innovation Index released on Tuesday (Jan 17).


The Republic’s global position was unchanged from the previous year, though it managed to usurp Japan as Asia’s second most innovative economy after the Japanese fell from 4th to 7th spot.


New healthcare groupings in Singapore

Healthcare clusters were first formed in 2000 when the Health Ministry reorganised its restructured hospitals and polyclinics into Singapore Health Services and National Healthcare Group.


The clusters grew in the last decade to include National University Health System, Alexandra Health System, Eastern Health Alliance and JurongHealth.

Singapore economy in 2016 beats expectations
