Andre NothombHead of Government Affairs APAC - Singapore Country Manager at Solvay

From the 90's till the Present, Mr. Andre Nothmb contributed and oversaw the growth of Solvay Group in Korea, from a Group single country outpost to a Regional industrial organisation to a Global hub of the Group, with HQ of Special Chem GBU, Solvay Ewha Corporate R&I Center, as well as various JV and VC partnerships and investments.

Along this development, Solvay became recognized in Korea for it's flexibility and creativity in developing traditional and new business activities in the country, in full synergy with the Group's growth and sustainable strategy.

Re-assigned to the Group Corporate Function of Government & Public Affairs, heading the promotion and advocacy of Solvay interests in coordination with Public Authorities in the region (Korea, Japan, India). In September 2016, this area of responsibility was extended to South East Asia (in other words Asia Pacific bar China) and to facilitate this extended zone, transferred to Bangkok, Thailand, where Solvay also has significant industrial operations since the 80s.
