Antoine RaesInvestment Director, Natural Capital at Mirova

Antoine is Investment Director at Mirova, a leader in sustainable finance with c. €30bn assets under management operating globally. He has worked in private equity & venture capital for the past 15 years with a focus on Asia, Africa and Latin America, including 7 years as senior representative managing investment funds. With Mirova, he focuses on Nature-Based Solutions for the APAC region across different strategies including sustainable agriculture, reforestation, ocean conversation, and the restoration of degraded lands.

Prior to Mirova, Antoine was Senior Equity Investment Manager at Incofin IM, a global investment manager specialized in emerging markets where he headed the equity team in East-Asia and led the Water Access Acceleration Fund. Prior to Incofin, Antoine held various roles in principal investing and was Director in a venture fund dedicated to Western Francophone Africa where he was in charge of investments activities and fund development. Antoine started his career in investment banking covering large cap transactions and in management consulting. Antoine has a French-Spanish family and studied Business Administration in Berlin. He is fluent in English, French, Spanish, and German.
