After studying mathematics, mechanical engineering and physics, I specialized in photonics before starting a PhD in Laser Physics and Laser-matter interaction. After completing my PhD, I joined a spin-off project with two other PhDs with the goal to build table-top laser-based particle accelerator for scientific, industrial and medical applications. After a few years of business development, I decided to launch a new project, DWS, in which I was thrilled to apply my experience in developing innovative international businesses to an extremely demanding and aesthetic application of laser-material interaction where innovation and international reach are key success factors.
