Dr Alpesh PatelVice President, Smart Factory Technology Innovation Group at Hyundai Motor Group Innovation Center in Singapore (HMGICS)
- Alpesh leads the Technology Innovation Group in Hyundai Motor Group Innovation Centre in Singapore (HMGICS), the group’s test bed and first global open innovation hub to promote human-centred intelligent manufacturing innovation for a mobility paradigm shift through advanced mobility solutions as well as the value chain innovation.
- Before joining HMGICS, Alpesh was one of the core Industry 4.0 leaders in Asia for McKinsey & Company, leading their Digital Capability Centers (DCCs) in Asia Pacific. Alpesh also built extensive experience in manufacturing, automotive and motorsports, logistics, as well as in the public sector.
- Before joining McKinsey in 2011 Alpesh worked for Ferrari’s Formula One team for seven years. As a senior aerodynamicist, he developed key areas of the car and helped transfer knowledge to the road car product development division.
