Nicolas Parrot is the Country Head of BNP Paribas in Indonesia and President Director of PT Bank BNP Paribas Indonesia.
Nicolas joined BNP Paribas Group in 1997 in Tokyo, in the aviation finance team and until 2019 he headed the Transportation Sector for Asia Pacific from Singapore, leading the bank’s aviation and shipping practice. Located in Jakarta since 2020, he has 25 years of experience in providing funding, hedging, advisory solutions and capital markets access to companies across Asia Pacific.
BNP Paribas is present in Indonesia for 52 years and banks with more than 200 local and foreign companies, providing a full range of banking services to all sectors of the economy.
Nicolas has a personal interest in sustainable development and sustainable finance. He holds a civil engineering degree from Mines Paris Tech (formerly Ecole des Mines de Paris) and took advantage of the 2020 covid lockdown to graduate from the CS50x diploma, the online computer science introduction course from Harvard University.
