Onno Boots is the President & CEO of Asia-Pacific GEODIS.

GEODIS is a global supply chain operator recognized for its commitment to helping clients overcome their logistical constraints.
GEODIS’ offerings cover Supply Chain Optimization, Freight Forwarding, Contract Logistics, Distribution & Express, and Road Transport.
As a fully owned subsidiary of SNCF (Société nationale des chemins de fer - French State Owned railways company), GEODIS has a direct presence in 67 countries, and a global network spanning 120 countries.

Onno joined GEODIS in November 2016.

He is also a member of the Board of Directors of SGS (Saudia Ground Services- a subsidiary of Saudia Airlines), a listed entity on Saudi Arabia’s stock exchange in Jeddah.

Prior to this current role, he was the Group CEO and Member of the Board of Celebi Aviation Holding (entity listed on the Turkish Stock Exchange in Istanbul) and also held various executive roles as the Managing Director Asia Pacific at MNX, Midnite Express, and Director at RLG Cycleon Asia.

Most notably, Onno lead TNT Asia as their regional Managing Director and served as a member of the TNT Express Board from 2005 to 2011. He built his career at their divisional head office in the Netherlands for close to 18 years before relocating to the TNT Asia’s regional office based in Singapore in 2000.
In this role, Onno had full responsibility for TNT’s operations in the Asia markets.

Onno, who has a degree in Business studies, held several management positions within TNT since joining the company in 1988, including two years as a Depot General Manager, five years as Director of Sales & Marketing in the Benelux and three years as corporate manager for major accounts in Europe, where he was responsible for overseeing the growth of TNT’s Global Accounts across the world before his penultimate role as the regional Managing Director for Asia.

Prior to TNT, he spent more than five years in the freight express industry where he worked for Air Express International and Cargolux Airlines International in the Netherlands, giving him broad experience across the entire business. He is also a qualified pilot and has served in the military as a medic.

Mr. Boots is a member of the advisory board for The Logistics Institute of Asia Pacific (TLI-AP), the chairman of the executive council of Supply Chain Asia community as well as a member of the advisory panel of the The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport, Singapore (CILTS).
