Sylvie GleisesCEO, Singapore at AXA XL

Sylvie started her career as strategy consultant in London and Paris. She joined AXA Group in 2006 and has since held several strategic positions at headquarters including Chief of Staff to the Group’s former Chairman & CEO Henri de Castries and Secretary of the Board of Directors.

In 2014 she moved to AXA ART, (the division of AXA dedicated to fine art insurance) as CEO, Continental Europe and Global Head of Distribution & Marketing.

After the acquisition of XL Catlin by AXA in 2019, she joined AXA XL (the newly created division of AXA dedicated to large complex risks) as Global Head of Revenue Synergies and was promoted to Head of Client Management APAC & Europe. She took on the role of CEO, Singapore in 2021.

Sylvie graduated from ESCP French business school, and she also holds a Master's degree from the London School of Economics. Currently, she serves as a Board Member at both the French Chamber of Commerce in Singapore and the Alliance Française. In addition, Sylvie is an independent Board Member at Hemarina, a French biotech startup.
