2 Tonnes Workshop: Reduce your carbon footprint
Event language(s)
English
Join us for an immersive workshop to explore a low-carbon transition scenario until 2050 and discover what it means to reach carbon neutrality!
In order to limit climate change, the 2015 Paris Agreement set a course: to reduce our emissions of greenhouse gases to 2-tonne carbon dioxide (CO₂) equivalent by 2050. Today, on average, each human being emits 8 tonnes of carbon emissions per year.
Leveraging on collaboration and collective intelligence, this workshop will allow participants to design a credible scenario to try to make their own carbon footprint and society compliant with the Paris Agreement.
During this workshop-based session participants will:
- Learn the causes and consequences of climate change and the climate action framework
- Explore the power of individual and collective action by simulating the evolution of carbon emissions until 2050
- Debrief the results, key lessons and brainstorm to imagine new actions and inspiring strategies to reduce emissions.
Leave ready to take commitments to lower your carbon footprint effectively and become actors of the climate transition!
Our Speaker:
