Join this webinar to learn more about trade compliance and supply chain disruptions

Every company undertakes trade across borders, whether of physical goods or through ecommerce.

Depending on the range of products and the type of trade undertaken, there are a number of issues to consider, including export control, preferential treatment pursuant to free trade agreements, and sanctions issues, to identify three key areas. A failure to comply with the relevant rules can result in penal consequences, as well as severe unfortunate supply disruptions.

This session is intended to look into these issues, identify where the pitfalls lie given that the laws of different countries can vary and it is important to look at both exporting and importing countries, including re-exporting countries, discusses how to manage a non-compliance, including a voluntary disclosure to the relevant customs authority, and the importance of a compliance programme, which is also notified to the board of directors of the company.

The session will be interactive.
