Join this workshop focusing on talent assessment and talent retention in the supply chain industry.

Talent development stands as a pivotal focus within numerous organizations, not only due to its substantial impact on talent retention but also for its ability to enhance the workforce's skill set continually, thereby ensuring sustained collective performance.

  • In your view, why is talent development crucial within your organization?
  • What primary challenges are you currently facing in terms of Talent Development?
  • In your perspective, what roles do Accountability and Individualization play in the success of individual development?

The Supply Chain Industry faces challenges in attracting and retaining talents due to the diverse range of roles and the lack of established study pathways leading directly to supply chain jobs. Individuals from various backgrounds are hired and trained in specific hard skills. Stronger retention strategies are thus crucial for the industry.

Assessment program solutions, such as questionnaires or situational games, are employed to discern professional behaviours, managerial potential, leadership styles, or the ability to drive change. These tools are influential:

  • At an individual level (across all levels of seniority): Individual assessments help identify talents' strengths, areas for growth, as well as coaching or training needs. They serve as a crucial step towards individual development plan and leadership planning.
  • At an organizational level: those programs aid in constructing "high potential" pools, formulating succession plans, establishing a fair benchmark for talent evaluation, and providing organizational and strategic recommendations or optimizations.

During this workshop, we will delve into these questions and challenges. We aim to explore how you envision leveraging assessment programs in your organization and the associated benefits in terms of talent development.
