Past Event | Building an AI-First Nation: Empowering Businesses with Singapore's Leading AI Initiatives
Reflecting on an insightful session hosted at AI Singapore (the nation’s AI programme), following the recent signature of MOU by The French Chamber of Commerce in Singapore and AI Singapore.
This strategic partnership called "FCCS AI Lab" will leverage the newly launched AI Apprenticeship Programme for Industry (AIAP-Industry), with the goal of developing AI Proofs of Concept (POCs) for French companies operating in Singapore.
Through this collaboration, FCCS aims to reaffirm its commitment to accelerating innovation and supporting the digital transformation of the French business community in Singapore.
This engaging session provided our members with valuable insights into how AI Singapore is driving the nation’s AI strategy forward.
Laurence Liew, Director of AI Innovation at AI Singapore, presented key national initiatives such as the AI Apprenticeship Programme (AIAP) and 100 Experiments (100E), highlighting efforts to build world-class AI talent and drive industry adoption.
Attendees also heard from Henry Liew, who shared BIPO’s AI journey, and Baolin Xu, who showcased how Hutchinson’s R&D center is using AI to innovate.
The session underscored the strength of Singapore’s AI ecosystem and the impact of cross-sector collaboration.
