Past Event | Plastic Odyssey’s Stopover in Singapore
The French Chamber of Commerce in Singapore had the honor of attending the press conference of Plastic Odyssey during its stopover in Singapore. This initiative, led by co-founders Alexandre Dechelotte and Simon Bernard, aims to develop and promote sustainable solutions to reduce plastic waste both on land and at sea.
During the event, attendees learned about the expedition's progress and its impact on global efforts to address plastic pollution. The conference was followed by an exclusive tour of the 40-meter laboratory vessel, providing a hands-on look at the innovative technologies and solutions being developed to tackle this critical environmental issue.
Plastic Odyssey will remain in Singapore until September 4, 2024, as part of the Joint Year of Sustainability between Singapore and France, strengthening our collaboration to address climate change and sustainability challenges.
