Past Event | Women in Business Networking: Celebrating CNY with Art, Fashion and Colour
Our Women in Business Committee, in partnership with So Chic and Art Works Gallery, welcomed over 50 dynamic businesswomen from diverse industries for an inspiring evening of art, fashion, and festive traditions in celebration of Chinese New Year. The event offered a unique opportunity to connect, exchange ideas, and be inspired in a vibrant and festive atmosphere.
The programme featured a series of insightful talks delivered by our guest speakers:
- Ariane Nabarro, Founder of Singapour Sur Seine, explored the cultural significance of Chinese New Year, highlighting the symbolic power of colours during this festive season. Her insightful talk brought a fresh perspective, leaving attendees motivated and intrigued.
- Juliette Capillaire, Founder of Juliette C, presented her latest collection, offering a behind-the-scenes look into her creative process and sharing how the Chinese New Year tradition shapes her work in the fashion industry.
- Marie Deneux, Fine Art Advisor at Art Works Gallery, delivered an engaging presentation on the gallery’s vibrant contemporary art exhibition. She illustrated how art serves as a profound medium for creativity and expression, drawing meaningful parallels to the empowering spirit of the Women in Business community.
The evening fostered new connections and lively discussions, enhanced by the bespoke cocktails curated by Destination Beverage and Giffard. The Chinese New Year-inspired drinks, crafted with exceptional creativity, delighted guests and added a celebratory touch to the event.
