Gillian SimEAJ Transport Director at Schneider Electric

 As Transportation Director for the East Asia Japan region, Gillian leads the Air/Ocean/Express, Customs Brokerage & Trucking, Control Tower and Last Mile Delivery domain at Schneider Electric.   Gillian’s role is to ensure end to end service reliability to meet customer’s requirements, to develop innovative solutions to increase efficiency and productivity and manage transport cost through network planning and optimization

Holding a BSc and MS degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering, Gillian started her career with Hewlett Packard before moving to DHLe and UPS.  She spent 17 years with UPS in several positions overseas before returning to Singapore as UPS Country Manager.   She managed SF Express and was instrumental in driving growth in ecommerce business.   In 2016, she joined DHL Supply chain as Operations Director – Lifescience and Healthcare after which she assumed her current role at Schneider Electric.
