Join us for a fruitful dialogue with Mr Frederick Chew, Chief Executive Officer of A*STAR, to hear how the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR) drives mission-oriented research that advances scientific discovery and technological innovation and hear about the “Research, Innovation and Enterprise 2025 plan (RIE2025)”.
The Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR) is Singapore’s lead public sector agency that spearheads economic oriented research through open innovation, they collaborate with partners in both the public and private sectors to benefit society.
During this conversation, Mr Fredrick Chew will also cover initiatives and research in the field of Agri-food Tech, Manufacturing, Health, Urban solutions & Sustainability.
A*STAR also looks forward to collaborating with members of the French Chamber across different business activities and industries.
The dialogue will be moderated by Kevin Chow, Board Member at the French Chamber of Commerce and Thales Country Director Singapore & CEO, Thales Solutions Asia Pte. Ltd.
Programme:
- From 8.00 am : Registration and welcoming attendees.
- 8.30 am : Opening Remarks by Kevin Chow.
- 8.40- 9.00 am : A presentation on the Research, Innovation and Enterprise 2025 plan.
- 9.00- 9:40 am : Fireside chat between Mr. Chew and Mr.Chow
- 9:40-10:00 am : A Q/A session with questions from the Audience.
