Alain has 9 years of experience in sustainability consulting, with in-depth knowledge in sustainability strategy, GHG emissions measurement, decarbonisation and climate risk. Prior to joining ENGIE Impact, Alain was an Associate Director in KPMG Singapore’s sustainability consulting team, leading several large projects in the GHG emissions and sustainable finance space.

Before moving to Singapore, Alain was based in South Africa, supporting organizations in their sustainability and climate
change journey. He particularly supported the South African government in developing the verification system for the South African mandatory GHG emissions reporting regulations (linked to the carbon tax mechanism) and has done over 30  verifications of GHG emissions data.
