With the onset of more ambitious governmental decarbonization targets, evolving carbon pricing mechanisms and transforming financial systems, businesses recognise the need to move away from a carbon-intensive business models. Regulators and shareholders are also raising the bar on what is expected by organisations, with a demand for more transparent disclosures emissions and approach to managing them. It is imperative for leaders to have a strong grasp of their emissions to deal with an array of risks and opportunities to their businesses.
In this workshop, ENGIE Impact will demystify how an organization can approach and accelerate their decarbonization pathway, by providing practical guidance on measuring GHG emissions, identifying measures to reduce and neutralize these emissions and establishing a credible target, aligned with best practice. We will also unpack a case-studies on how other players have approached this journey.
